MEET HATTIE | @PETALSHED

Hattie Risdale is a crochet designer based in the Cotswolds, United Kingdom. She has always loved arts and crafts, and has been making and decorating for as long as she can remember.

Crochet came into her life during a holiday in 2014 and ever since then she’s been 'hooked'. Hattie studied photography at Art college and trained to be a florist after the birth of her first child.

As a result, it's not a big surprise that colours and flowers are her biggest inspirational sources. She is a master in combining colours together in the most gorgeous way. Hattie’s favourite type of yarn to work with is cotton, because of the lovely stitch definition and the vast amount of colours it is available in.

Hattie can be found on Instagram under the name of @petalshed, if you love colourful crochet, you should definitely have a look! All the patterns she designed can be found on her website “The Petal Shed”.
