SHIPMENT AND DELIVERY
Yarn and Colors is proudly a 100% Dutch company. Our office and warehouse are located in this beautiful flat land (you). On working days (Monday to Friday) parcels leave here daily to destinations all over the world. But in addition to shipping, a large part of our inspiration is available digitally. That is why Yarn and Colors distinguishes between: physical and download product.
PHYSICAL PRODUCTS
For the shipment of physical products such as Yarn, kits and tools, Yarn and Colors works together with PostNL to take care of the standard shipments. With these standard shipments you get:
- Ships within 24-48 hours *.
- Standard insured up to € 200.
- Always provided with a Track and Trace.
Once the order has been packed you will receive an email from Yarn and Colors that the order has been shipped. Orders are collected from our warehouse in the Netherlands every working day. You will automatically receive the track and trace of your order as soon as the package has arrived at the PostNL sorting center. The shipping costs and lead time * of your order depend on the country of destination. This can be found in the overview below:
If you have your package shipped to a destination outside Europe, you may have to pay additional rates. Additional rates such as import duties and/or taxes. These rates are based on the enclosed customs declaration and may differ per country. Please note that these costs are for your own account and that Yarn and Colors cannot inform in advance about the amount of these rates.
DOWNLOADABLE PRODUCTS
The patterns from the Yarn and Colors Lookbooks are available digitally. This means that the pattern can be downloaded after payment. How this works is described below:
- Choose one or more patterns in the Yarn and Colors webshop.
- Add the patterns to the shopping cart and go to the checkout.
- Creating an account is required to download patterns.
- Go through the checkout and pay for desired patterns.
After successful completion of the payment, the pattern will be added to your account. Here is a complete overview of all patterns that you have bought at Yarn and Colors. You can download the PDF file from your account. All our patterns are “print-ready” and fit entirely on A4 paper without modification. With the handy supplies list you can quickly find the right Yarn and Colors items to make the pattern. These are available in one of our dealers or the Yarn and Colors webshop.
At Yarn and Colors you pay no shipping costs for downloadable products.
PHYSICAL AND DOWNLOAD PRODUCT BUY OR PURCHASED.
You can order both physical and download products at once. Because the physical product must be shipped, the standard shipping will be charged. The height and lead time depend on the country of destination. After completing the payment, Yarn and Colors will ship the purchased products and the downloadable product will be added to your account. Orders are collected from our warehouse in the Netherlands every working day. You will automatically receive the track and trace of your order as soon as the package has arrived at the PostNL sorting center.
* Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 situation, it may take longer for your order to be processed. This can be delayed by a maximum of 5 working days.
* The lead time or transit does not start until the package has left our (Dutch) sorting center.
